It showcases fragments of urban recollections that one fails to place. These fragments are discrete, out-of-context and removed from geographical, chronological, and cultural frameworks. The still and motion images function in different manners of shaping our impressions to the urban landscape but both fail to connect us to the real memories. Eventually they linger as pieces in between the reality and fantasy, past and present, places and non-places.

Michael Schröder is the owner of a fitness studio that is not running. His marriage to the aristocratic and wealthy lawyer Elisabeth also only exists on paper. When he arrives at the bank, he is taken hostage during a robbery. The masked bank robber turns out to be a female bank robber. Nina seems aggressive, tired of life and unpredictable. The grueling wait for ransom money and a getaway car eventually turns hostage and hostage-taker into a fated couple. Michael even knows who they can demand more money from. But then everything gets out of hand.
